A summer internship program for high school students with the aim of offering to the most talented students the opportunity to be involved with research in vision science. Over four weeks, students were taught basics of neuroscience, vision science, Matlab programming (and psychtoolbox), and statistics. In addition, each student independently carried out a research project with experiment programming, data collecting and analysis, paper writing and results presentation.
